Mother’s Day Contest My sister, Lauren Myracle, YA author extraordinaire, has a fantastic new book coming out titled Peace, Love and Baby Ducks. And who, might you ask, is Ruth? And why are her brownies so righteous? Norma Ruth Campbell White is none other than my mama, the sweetest lady you will ever meet, who also happens to bake the world’s best brownies. Ruth is not, I repeat, is NOT Louise Parker from Bound South, but they do share the same brownie recipe. The brownies are righteous because they are the real thing—made from scratch, layered with flavor. No mixes, no Splenda, no margarine.
