My latest, THE GIANT BOOK OF DOG NAMES, comes out October 9th!!!

I'm so excited that my newest book, THE GIANT BOOK OF DOG NAMES, and my first with Simon and Schuster, is coming out on October 9th!  It was a joy to write and I'm so anxious to tell you all about it.  The proof copy just arrived and I've got to tell you, as an author, it's a long road from the time you first put pen to paper to the time your manuscript goes through the labor pains of becoming a bound book.  Anyway, I wanted to reach out and give you a heads-up.  I'm going to make use of this Author's Voice entry to tell you about some of the 5,000 names I've compiled and their meanings.  Not all 5,000, of course.  You can read those yourself when the book comes out!  Catch ya later, LAURIE
