My Life in 8 Words

Author Revealed

Q. What is your motto or maxim?

A. "Write what you know" means learn more, not write less.

Q. What trait is most noticeable about you?

A. I'm told that it's my evil laugh.

Q. Which living person do you most admire?

A. My parents. Sappy, but true.

Q. If you could acquire any talent, what would it be?

A. Oh, I would so love to be able to draw. I can see it all in my head, but . I can barely draw a straight line with a ruler.

Q. How would you describe perfect happiness?

A. I'm not sure I believe in 'perfect' happiness, since the awareness of being happy also requires the knowledge that there is UNhappiness, and.. okay, being too philosophical, I know.

Perfect happiness for me, I guess, is that moment when you turn to share something -- a joke, a sight, a thought -- with someone, and they're right there, ready for the adventure, whatever it is. The moment of discovery, and being able to share it.
