Rewriting the Legacy of Distorted Love: Healing the Daughters of Narcissistic Mothers
Denver, Colorado June 24-26th, 2011
Come join Dr. Karyl McBride, psychotherapist and author of Will I Ever Be Good Enough? Healing the Daughters of Narcissistic Mothers, and bestselling writer Rebecca Walker, author of five books including Baby Love: Choosing Motherhood After a Lifetime of Ambivalence for this once-in-a-lifetime retreat for daughters of narcissistic mothers.
Specifically designed for daughters of narcissistic mothers, this conference is an opportunity for daughters of all ages to learn, write, and heal in community with others who understand their specific challenges with self-esteem, intimacy, and courageous self-expression.
Experience the transformative power of two of America’s most outspoken and compassionate thinkers on the subject of mother-daughter relationships. Dr. Karyl has treated hundreds of daughters in her Denver private practice, and Rebecca has taught the art of memoir for five years, and helped women from California to Helsinki to find their voice and write their personal truths in the face of tremendous obstacles.
The weekend retreat includes lectures, master classes in the art of memoir, sandbox play, yoga, massage, creative movement, and other optional counseling sessions.
Join us June 24-26th at the wonderful Curtis Hotel in downtown Denver to meet other daughters who understand and are ready, like you, to break the multi-generational cycle of suffering and rewrite the story of their lives.
